  Summary

  Dannel Ir'Wynarn, Queen of Cyre, has decided this ends now, for better or for worse.
  She asks her sons wife, a powerful mage, to seek out a tower that has the potential to hold the power they seek to end this war, here and now.

  Alma, devoted to her people and deeply invested in her duty, accepts swiftly and without fanfare. Soon, she departs with the company of one- that of her knight, her unmistakable devotee and tentative friend.

  All goes according to plan, except for the utterly devastating, Heart stopping Day of Sorrows.
  The day Cyre was ripped of Her birth, and assaulted into monsterhood, just as Shelley's was.
  The day T'vek and Alma, for the first time in their lives, were truly ignorant to the plights of the world.
