Summary
All Kim wanted to do was enter the Thai racing industry and make a name for himself outside of South Korea. When it turns out there is something much more sinister going on behind the scenes, he does his best to lend a hand to the Hunter X Team. It all goes wrong when he ends up captured by the enemy.
When everything is said and done, Kim is left to pick up the pieces of himself and those he has grown to care for. It’s hard to help those around you heal when you can’t even put yourself together.

With the captured Team members rescued and the Mountain destroyed, a group of heroes meet to decide where to build the new base. Their meeting is interrupted when a portal opens and transports them into the future, Bart’s future.
Now they are stuck and must work on finding their way back to their own time, all while learning that the future wasn’t as bright as the youngster speedster had led them to believe.

"Shane can feel his coach’s gaze on him as he finishes removing his gear, can feel the anger radiating off him and everyone else in the room so strongly it makes tears prick at the corners of his eyes, and he knows he’s not strong enough to stop what’s about to happen.
He’s usually better at hiding this side of him, at gritting his teeth and pretending he’s not actually a real submissive like this club expects of him. But Shane is so tired of pretending, so tired of being forced to hide the aspects of himself these people don’t want to see, and he can’t muster up the strength to mask like he usually does.
He’s not the robot that people think he is. He’s someone who loves hockey more than almost anything and this is the only way he’s ever been allowed to have it. He’s someone who, even after everything, still is desperate to prove his worth to the only MHL team he has ever known.
He’s also a sub surrounded by people who hate him and whose thoughts are becoming more fractured by the second. There is no scenario where he comes out of this unscathed."

Shane has always had a complicated relationship with his own body.
It’s his biggest tool to success as a hockey player. He wouldn’t be where he is without the trust and care he puts into this own body. So he takes care of it as much as he can. He exercises regularly to keep himself fit and strong, fuels it with the best food and nutrients he can, does his best to listen to the cues his body gives him to rest. It’s a careful balancing act as a professional athlete, stretching his body to its limits while also caring for it deeply.
Still, he can’t deny that he feels let down by it often.
Some days it feels very unfair.
And then some days something even worse happens and that already strained relationship he has with his own body gets even worse.
