Summary
Louis stared at their joined hands, cold and undying, huddling for warmth. With a sigh, he took off his hat and looked up at her. "Where could we possibly go? Where could we possibly run to where he'd fail to find us? There'll be no peace for us. No place to settle down, no place to call home."
He won't let me, he thought, and the muscles along Claudia's jaw clenched, her hold on him tightening.
"No." She interrupted unkindly, softly. "Do not make me leave you on this bench thinkin' it's gonna be the last time I see you."
September 1st, 1939. Louis boards the last train alongside Claudia in hopes of salvation. That is the last decision he will make as a free man.

Summary
The coldness of his brother's corpse bleeding into Sam's skin, the sensation of unnatural stiffness of limbs, and the pale, mottled skin were fresh in his mind as he set out to hunt for the demon parading in Dean's body. Four agonizing weeks later, with no more than 50 miles separating them, Sam's car suddenly breaks down, forced to take a brief detour at the nearest gas station.
All that took was one careless slip-up to screw everything up, one careless mistake. Hours later, Sam's waking up dazed in a public restroom, his 12-year-old self staring back at him in the mirror.

Summary
Following Dick Roman’s demise, for the first time since that foggy night where Sam had fled from his family with his brother left standing at the side of the road as he took off for Stanford, Sam was alone.
For three days, he lived with the thought that Dean was dead. A soul-etched agony that he never thought would experience again, not when the first time nearly destroyed him, intimately familiar with the pain of having to cradle his brother’s mauled body as he took his last, dying breath.
Only this time, there was no body to bury.

Summary
Despite their differences, despite the devouring guilt in Bruce’s eyes whenever he witnessed the cruelty of his actions in Clark’s psyche, they grew into something more. Bruce provided him with the stability and familiar comfort of belonging- of family, and Clark...
Clark became a tender distraction. He brought forward a fundamental change in the bleakness of Bruce’s soul. Once more; a colleague. A friend. A companion, and a partner of day and night.
And yet, despite everything, they were not meant to last.

Summary
When she finally glanced up, meeting Mark’s eyes, the words withered away from her tongue. Her eyes flitted over his face, cataloging every detail; from the stiffness in his jaw to the exposed vulnerability in his eyes. Eyes that shone brighter under the light than they usually did, a glint of soft caramel instead of dark brown.
And then, she noticed the tear in the suit around the expanse of his collarbones as if someone had ripped the upper half entirely off.
“You’re not my son.”

Summary
A soft hiss in the air. That was his only warning before Rick’s face was stricken and frozen in time. He was given a second of hesitation, a second of blissful ignorance before Rick’s head fell from his shoulders, dropping and rolling on the dirt with a sickening thump.
Drowning in his hysteria, blinded by grief, he nearly missed the blue boots that stepped into his vision. William blinked through the fog of tears, looking up, up, until he found Mark’s impassive face staring down at him.

A terrible light began to flicker from the entity, rapidly growing brighter in radiance, his eyes straining as he was unable to look away. When it unleashed his charged attack Yoojin did not sense an ounce of pain, for his world had already faded to black.

Summary
When Jisung opened his eyes, he noticed the vast, neverending fields he was surrounded by. There was no sun, the clouds in the sky high above him blending with a vibrant color of orange, supported by a few specks of violet, fuchsia, and blue. He took a lungful, indulging in the fresh and cool atmosphere. Somewhere in the deepest recesses of his mind, he knew this was nothing more than a dream. When he blinked, a lone door stood before him. As if compelled, he drew closer and walked through.
-
Or, plagued by dreams he could not recall, dreams that always left him gasping for air every day, at last, Jisung makes the fatal mistake of remembering.

Summary
Day and night, in his dreams and nightmares, Dan Heng was haunted from the moment he opened his eyes. Haunted by the echoes of his past, by the identical face of a wretched man that stared back at him in the mirror, by the screams and wails of the ones he had unfairly punished. Haunted by those bleeding, crimson eyes and that golden, sharp smile.
There was nowhere for him to run anymore.

Well then, let’s see if this black lamb is going to end up like you say!
The words echoed in his head, followed by raucous laughter, piercing his ears. Then, his world bled into oblivion. His head throbbed, eyes straining as he struggled to adjust to the blooming colors around him. A creation of soaring debris and a chasm of blood glaring into him.
He could never foresee what was waiting for him.

Summary
Jisung was twenty years old when the world went up in flames. His world as he once knew it was shattered. Completely alone, stranded in a country with no familiar face, he was doomed from the start to trudge through this nightmare unleashed on Earth.
The undead. Walkers. People who were infected were damned to lose themselves, their sanity, and their sense of self, and become these flesh-eating monsters. Monsters that were supposed to be fictional, that were supposed to forever remain a figment of their imagination and nothing else. He couldn’t do this. Jisung wasn’t cut out for this world.
However, one fateful encounter with a certain boy would change everything.

Summary
It all started when one night Taeil found himself rousing disoriented and sluggish near the opening of an alley. He thought of it as a one-time occurrence- perhaps he had been more exhausted than he initially believed from that day’s labor. Though much to his deteriorating sanity, it only continued. Again and again, he found himself startling awake, each time in a different place, lost and completely alone.
However, when The Eyes began to follow him, Taeil knew his fate was sealed. No matter where he went, no matter what he did, he could not escape them. Even in the confines of the cathedral, kneeling before the altar, he was not free from them.

Summary
They didn't keep secrets between them. There was no need to. Ever since they found a home in each other, they worked everything out through honest communication. Though Jisung had been planning on telling them for a long time now, the fear of confrontation kept festering like an open wound until it was too much to bear. Until the guilt was consuming him.
Until a careless mistake forced him to finally come clean.

Summary
Jisung was stupid. He was stupid, horny, and curious; the worst possible combination.
Masturbating on his father’s and his partner’s bed with their silicone dildo up his ass was not how he thought his day would go. It easily stole the top spot on his list of Bad Ideas, yet his dick seemed to think otherwise.

Summary
In the world, those that conquered at the top of the hierarchy were the vampires and werewolves. Creatures that walked these ancient lands long before humans had ever existed, but were always hidden in the shadows. For centuries, both species observed from afar as humanity evolved, creating nations and wreaking wars, gradually ascending the pyramid. And, for several centuries, humanity ruled all until nature’s beloved children decided to make their presence known to the world.
Honestly, all Jisung ever wanted was to keep a low profile and spend the rest of his life as pleasantly as he could with his family, however the halcyon days would not remain for long.

Summary
Felix has been acting weird around him lately; touches that screamed of desire, fleeting glances that were filled with yearning, an ache that ran deep, yet, at the very last moment, Felix would falter and draw back as if nothing ever happened, as if he was refusing himself of the pleasure. Jisung is determined to unravel the cause of this frustrating behavior.

Summary
Jisung’s first memories consisted of flames. An incensed inferno that kept chasing him under the starless sky, hunting him down until he, eventually, had nowhere to run.
His second memories, though, consisted of white ceilings, the smell of bleach and disinfectant, and the steady, albeit weakened beep of his own heart through the monitor. When Jisung had awoken in that hospital bed five years ago, only three things remained in its wake. The name ‘Han Jisung’, the all-consuming emptiness in his chest, and the scars to prove it.
And then, because fate was cruel like that, he happened to cross paths with seven dangerous men. Seven men who Jisung was intimately familiar with, each one in different ways.
