This is after 15x18, I have decided that Castiel is not really dead and neither is anyone else (Sam, Dean, Jack, Cas, Eileen, and a handful of other characters.) Basically, they decide to continue hunting while Sam, and Eileen get their own place and make their own family. Now Castiel, and Dean are stuck together, hunting trying to ignore the sentiment Castiel gave before his death.
