    Instead of awakening Aspheera and unleashing her Forbidden Spinjitzu, the ninja venture into an ancient Dragon den and accidentally unleash something worse: A crystal ball that ensares those it deems criminally liable by putting an exact clone of themselves on trial. The accused is cursed to be unable to communicate or be seen by any Dragon and their allies, such as the Ninjagans, until a judge can properly sentence them via a confession by their clone.

    Lloyd, the only Dragon among the ninja, suddenly finds himself Kai's judge, jury and executioner. The only issue is, Kai refuses to tell him what he could've done to receive the Dragons' wrath in the first place.

    The confession threatens to tear the team, as well as Kai himself, permanently apart and ruin their reputation.
