Rose would have been delighted to meet any sort of alien. She would have gladly greeted a gaseous cloud with fifteen eyes that spoke in tongues of madness, or some sort of hideous blob creature. She hadn’t really given much credence to the claim that this program fostered romance between its participants. But oh, great unknowable gods of the furthest ring and Calliope help her, but she was undeniably attracted to these aliens.
