What if Duan Huai Yi realises that Huo Ying should have been long dead? But he is alive and well. So his gege, Duan Zi Ang, maybe has a chance, too.
In this story Huo Ying and Duan Zi Ang suffer from the same poison, and there is an antidote, as we know. And Huai Yi gets it for him.This story wants to explore what would happen if Xiao Shuhe, after his attempted escape, faced with a now healthier, and a lot madder Duan Zi Ang. He won't be the same, that's for sure. Or was he always like this?
Now they will have a chance to love again, to live, or to hurt each other more deeply. -

Duan Zi'ang raised his hand and waited.
He saw one of the horseman look back. He knew – he felt – that it was his Shuhe. He must have sensed his presence, too, because why would he not? They belonged to each other, after all.
He smiled then and gave the signal while shouting his order.
„Catch them!”If it was what it took, then so be it.
Let the hunt begin.

“Isn’t this what you wanted?” Gi-hun stammered, his voice trembling, eyes wide with a mix of disbelief and desperation. “You won. You broke me.”
The Front Man’s gaze softened for a fleeting moment, his voice unexpectedly gentle. He barely stopped himself from reaching out to Gi-hun, as if to reassure him.
“But I don’t want you broken, Gi-hun.” The words seemed to surprise even him, and he quickly masked the softness with his usual cold composure, silently thanking the stoic black mask he wore to conceal any trace of vulnerability.A brief silence stretched between them, the air thick with unspoken words. Both men stood still, eyes locked, each one waiting for the other to make the next move.
Gi-hun’s chest tightened, a surge of anger rising in him as he spat,
“What do you want, then?”
