Ilya froze at the new phrase Shane had learned in his native tongue. You are my everything. Shane had obviously looked this up on his own, and Ilya’s heartbeat rocketed into his ears with the realization. He would mark more of Shane later to be sure, but for now, he needed to give his husband what he was begging for.
He grasped Shane’s hips and suddenly twisted to throw him onto his back on the bed. Ilya turned his own body sharply and straddled his husband, leaning into his neck, and asked, “What is it that my husband needs?”
“You. Ty - moyo vsyo.”
“This new phrase, Shane. Such a good trick. Let’s see what other good tricks you have in you tonight.”

Summary
After coming out to Rose, Shane decides he doesn't want to lie anymore, even if he isn't sure coming out will mean he gets happily ever after with Ilya. When coming out to the Voyageurs leaves him wondering what his future in Montreal might look like, he lets himself be a little selfish, he lets himself wonder if there might be somewhere else he might be happy. If Montreal wants to get rid of a generational player, he's not about to stop them, especially if it means he can get a little closer to joy.
