Summary
After getting shot in the shoulder Ghost is forced to take a break from work. Since he might become insane if he stays inside all day Price decides to send him downtown. And who would be better at joining in to keep him safe than Soap? Probably everyone, Ghost thinks. Forced to share a room for a couple of days they have no chance than to get to know each other. Living in a hotel room feels different than in the barracks. Maybe because there are no curious eyes around...

Soap’s heart skips a beat. He doesn’t want to admit it but this kind of scratches the left side of his brain. Then again, it’s Ghost. He shouldn’t feel anything at all, except for fear maybe. And he tries to tell himself that he should be scared when his Lieutenant is closing in on him with no way out.
He grabs into the sheets and breathes in and out slowly. He doesn’t look away but also doesn’t try to lock their eyes. He just waits to see what happens next.
