Summary
“Michael,” Jack repeats, and his real, full name coming out of his mouth twice in a row snaps Robby’s attention back up to him in the pitch-dark elevator. “I need you to talk to me and tell me what you’re feeling, right now.”
Robby’s heart pounds into his throat. His next contraction takes hold, too hard, too much, too fast, making his insides burn like he’s going to be sick— but then Jack’s hand finds his, blood-slippery and shaky and hanging on tight, and he swallows thickly to say, “I don’t— I don’t feel good, Jack.”
or: jack and robby's biggest concerns are getting through their residency and keeping their relationship a secret— until robby goes into early labor while trapped in an elevator with jack during a blizzard.

Summary
Tony grits his teeth. “What do you want me to do?”
At that, the first genuine smile flits across Ross's face. It’s quickly hidden behind his usual mask of casual indifference. “We need you to watch the boy over the holidays.”
Tony blinks. “What?”
Ross leans back in the chair, regarding him with a calculating look. For a moment, Tony thinks he going to kick his dirty shoes up on the table. “Well, you know, with everyone gone for the holidays there is no one else to do it.” He stops, obviously enjoying the thought of his next words. “And you wouldn’t mind doing it, would you? Seeing as you don’t have any family to visit yourself.”Or: The Holdovers AU that nobody needed but I really wanted to write

Summary
They could have a baby together that looks like Jon— his brown skin, and all that dark hair, black waves like his that curl up at the ends. His intelligent eyes, his wry smile, his long fingers, his pretty face, his cutting charm. It’s a hell of an inheritance.
If Martin can have— everything he’s too goddamned terrified to want, and not selfless enough to stop wanting.
“Hurry back,” Martin tells him, and Jon smiles.
“I promise,” Jon replies, “I’ll be home as soon as I can.” He’s at the door again, but still lingering. “And you’ll—”
“—Text if I need anything,” Martin finishes, and Jon rolls his eyes, reaching for the door, faux-put-upon. “I will. I promise. Don’t worry too hard about me, Jon. I’m fine. It’s not like it’s the end of the world.”
Jon points at him, halfway out the door. “That’s still not funny.”
or: martin brings more back with him after the end of the end of everything than either he or jon bargained for. they still manage to figure it out together.
