Summary
Natori gets struck by a curse (not that he knows) so it is up to Natsume to help remove it!
The problem? Removing it involves Natori hurting Natsume and there is no way he would do that willingly.
The solution? Pretend to be a youkai at a youkai hunting convention and get Natori to attack Natsume.
(Things don't exactly go as according to plan but it all works out in the end.)

A rumbling laugh is pulled from Technoblade’s chest, the first time Tommy has heard it. It’s strangely melodic for how intimidating he is at first glance. “This body is not human, if that’s what you’re wondering. I have animalistic traits.”
“Uh-huh,” Tommy agrees, pulling his gaze back to Technoblade’s eyes. “This body?”
“I can change my form at will. My true form may well send you into a catatonic state.”
“Oh.” Tommy inspects him for a second. “Well. Don’t show me that, I guess. But this one’s not too bad.”
or: Tommy is yanked rudely from prison to serve as a sacrifice to bring an ancient god out of dormancy. Technoblade is not happy when he awakes and finds out they're planning to kill Tommy to complete the ritual.

Summary
Tommy. Luke. Timedeo. Bitzel. Wisp. Ranboo. Boffy. Quackity. Schlatt. They all live a life as a human despite their holy status. It's an interesting experience, to say the least, and it's quite enjoyable, for the most part. But, not everything goes as planned. Like Wilbur's death. Like Tommy being abused while in exile. Like Techno wanting to destroy a whole country for the sake of Anarchy.
Needless to say, none of the other eight Gods are very happy about Tommy's current status when they log in, into the server. If they have to burn the world down to protect their youngest God, then so be it.
