Miles looks. It smells of rot and death. He sees Michiko’s face, and he sees the face of his friends, his comrades, those long gone. He smells the blood of his brothers and sisters splattered on his uniform, the feeling of their guts spilling out in his hands as he tries to keep everything in. He tries to ignore it, to ignore Death, but it’s around him, poisoning everything he touches.

Summary
A collection of stories about Michiko and her husband Miles from Identity V! This is written pre Miles's release (Assuming he will be released eventually since he participated in the manor games)-- and so, his character is written based on headcanons and current existing letters. I am a staunch supporter of Miles being a wife man (based on Michiko's 2022 letter); hopefully this will be the case for his official character as well! Netease, let Michiko have a husband who will support and spoil her. Praying Miles will release soon so we can finally have the full story on this couple!
By the way, if you enjoyed my fics, I highly recommend the Michimiles fics from Oui_82_2!
Insanely well written and poetic! Characterization is top tier. Their fic "If You Come Again Tomorrow” is my favorite, but they have a bunch of gems.I also recommend “we’ll meet again; some sunny day.” by XelSaji, this is the first Michimiles fic that I really enjoyed on this site and inspired me to write more about them!
