The first time Hannibal Lecter saw Will Graham was in the middle of spring, April 3rd, 1978. Hannibal remembered seeing Matron usher another kid inside the orphanage: unruly curls sticking out from his head, cheeks round, an innocent facade. Hannibal thought he’d be just like the other kids—shallow, boring, simple. Nothing more than another story of parents abandoning a child they found annoying and unwanted.
But no. How mistaken he had been.

Summary
Bruce has always been… unconventional. He wasn't given a very good hand in the first place, with everything he's gone through it's no wonder he's a bit different. Although sometimes it can sting, he's proud of the things he's done. If he changed anything, he wouldn't have his beautiful pups. And he would never have gotten the chance to truly meet his partner.
He should have known better to let his guard down.
OR: Bruce is living his best life completely blind sighted to the fact no one knows he's an Omega.
