Summary
Megumi wasn’t used to this. To Satoru’s physical touch. The man who raised him nearly always had infinity on, and as with all things, Megumi was always able to get close but not too close. He can remember a couple times when he felt Satoru’s skin, when Satoru came to pick Megumi up from elementary school one time while it rained, and Satoru had forgotten an umbrella, so he had scooped Megumi up, and widened infinity to include the small body. When Megumi had a nightmare and crawled into bed beside his guardian, curling up against his snoring form. When Satoru used his hand to take his temperature when he was sick. When Tsumiki fell into that coma and Satoru had practically snatched Megumi into a tight, infinity-less embrace.
He knew this wasn’t real. His exhausted brain turning from torturing him with guilt, twisting into some fucked up wish fulfilment. But he didn’t shout, didn’t wrench himself from the nightmare’s grasp, didn’t even pull away.

Summary
"Shen-ge?" The boy asks, clinging to Shen Qingqiu's robes despite his age.
Shen Qingqiu forced himself to turn his head, purposefully softening his face as to not scare the easily frightened youth. "Yes, A-Xiao?"
Gongi Xiao looked up. "What's wrong? Who is that?" The child inquires, innocently unaware. Shen Qingqiu curses internally. He moves to pat the child's head, a little too hard. His fingers dig into A-Xiao's silky midnight hair like worms burrowing into dirt to escape the rain.
"Luo Binghe." Shen Qingqiu answers, cool and curt. Desperately trying not to sound too close to either bursting into tears or having a mental breakdown.
The child's hands tighten on his robes. "Luo-Shige? But I thought- isn't that good? Why didn't he come home?" Anxiety builds in the boy's tone, childishly reflecting Shen Qingqiu's own panic. Shen Qingqiu stills his gentle, comforting ministrations on the boy's head. He saw Binghe's eyes when his gaze locked on Gongyi Xiao at his side. He gulped.
God, he's doomed this child too, hasn't he?
(Or; a third user is transmigrated into Gongyi Xiao, who is turned into a child via bullshit during the Immortal Alliance conference, and Shen Qingqiu takes him in)

The first time she meets him, he's nothing more than an almost-missed appointment.

Dean is silent for a long, tense moment, then he gruffly says, "It's not for banishing the angels. It's to summon them. So, it doesn't—it's not to get rid of 'em, but to draw 'em in."
Mitzi can't help but glance up at him at that. His voice is so heavy with so much unexplained pain, and she doesn't understand why, or what angels have to do with it. She knows religion can impact people. She's very aware that it can get complicated, and that it can be a huge source of pain for someone, but Dean sounds grievously wronged, somehow, as if it's a truly personal thing.
She pushes through, focusing back on her job, clearing her throat before murmuring, "Well, I guess we all want angels to visit us sometimes."
"Just the one," Dean mumbles.
"Your guardian angel?" Mitzi asks.
Dean breathes out, "Something like that. As close to one as an angel will ever get."
