Gale swallowed and took a tentative step forward. He paused at the small, uncomfortable desk and stole a look at Astarion again. His face was even, his brows relaxed, but a hint of a smirk pulled at the corners of his lips. It was a challenging look if he had ever seen one. There was something he was looking for, and Gale was half tempted to let him find it.
“Right.” Forcing his feet to move, he awkwardly clambered into the seat.

Astarion spins Gale with a quickness he's sure leaves the wizard a bit dizzy. He takes Gale's hands in his and lift them, firmly planting them against the barn's weathered wall. He slides one of his own hands down and grips Gale's waist, squeezing slightly.
He leans forward so his lips press near Gale's ear.
"You know I love you, don't you?" He murmurs, voice rasping. "That I would go to the ends of the world for you? To care for you? Cherish you?"
He hears Gale swallow before he answers. "I-I do, yes."
"Then you will trust me, correct? To do as I please with you and please you in return?"
"Always, Astarion."
Astarion grins like the cat that's just caught the mouse. "That's my good boy."
