Summary
Shadow Milk, weak from his defeat, befalls an unfortunate turn of events that lead to him being trapped in the Vanilla Kingdom. At the risk of returning to the tree, or his own destruction, he will have to adapt, and deal with things he would much rather not.
The snake bites and constructs the hands that hold it, for it was taught nothing else.
Perhaps it can learn.

Summary
Loneliness was a feeling Shadow Milk had felt almost his entire life. Sometimes stronger, sometimes weaker. However, as a former scholar he understood that feelings could lie. That feeling lonely and being alone are two separate things.
Or
Five times Shadow Milk felt lonely, and one time he remembered that despite it he was not alone.

Summary
At the cusp of defeat, Shadow Milk gets transported to a backwards world: Dark Enchantress was sealed away before she could do any lasting damage, the Beasts never came to be, and the Ancients rule over an otherwise peaceful world.
Oh, and apparently his counterpart is dead and hailed as a hero. Because his life wasn’t already complicated enough.
OR
What happens when the guy who basically saved all of cookiekind comes back as an evil, corrupted version of himself?

Summary
Blueberry Milk didn’t move from her side, simply watching as she curled into herself like a wilting flower. He pondered what to say, realizing all his wisdom was useless when he needed it most. He felt certain there would be no other chance to get this right.
Then she broke the silence, her voice muffled by the comforter.
“Do you ever get lonely, Blueberry?”
Or,
Shadow Milk Cookie knows death better than most. But being stuck in a time loop, dying on repeat? Yeah, that’s a solid 0/10, would not recommend.
...did you let me die in your arms in the time loop?
