Summary
You would think,” Laudna says, with prim condescension, which tells Imogen exactly how aggrieved she is, “that professional athletes, at the Olympics, the Olympics, Imogen, would be able to throw a fucking stone.” She looks to the television, sees easy movement, gentle voices, cool whites that seem pretty soothing. The mess of Laudna’s hair suggests otherwise; Imogen is uncertain why curling would be so enraging.
She says, “Is it… not going well?”

Summary
“I thought, you know, that because it was all over, Predathos and the dreams and— Laudna, I have so much control over it now, the voices and the magic, and I have the circlet. I really thought with the circlet— I thought that if I wasn’t in his head, that if he knew I wasn’t in his head, then maybe— Then maybe.” She doesn’t mean for her voice to sound so hollow. She doesn’t feel hollow, feels like it might all climb up her throat and spill out no matter what she does.

Summary
Only once have you felt your broken body so thoroughly deny you and even then, with the rope tight around your throat, you had at least been able to weep, to scream. Your body kneels, staggers. It fights for breath it does not need.
You had not thought it possible to grow colder, a chill that seeps from your soul and finds nowhere to go. Quietly, shakily, you whisper, Delilah? It falls not from your lips, but from your mind. You have never wanted an answer less.
-
In the quiet dark of the Parchwood, Delilah takes control. Bells Hells do not notice.

Summary
Casting helped distract from the memory of Laudna’s eyes looking at her in confusion, from Laudna, dreadful in her murderer’s mourning veil, from the smooth skin between her ribs where there should have been a jagged scar.
Imogen didn’t know where she was. She had to focus on the where of it all, couldn’t contemplate the nagging fear that where should not be her greatest concern. She didn’t think about the unstable marvel of Ashton’s brain. She didn’t think about her body moving out of time with itself. To even consider it was impossible.
-
Imogen falls through a hole in the world and finds herself trapped with a wife who doesn’t know her, a future imperilled, and no way to get home. A time travel AU.

Summary
“Look,” Ashton said, taking a folded up wad of paper from the inside of their jacket, spreading it out on the desk next to Fearne. Laudna pushed past her reluctance and stood with a sigh, pulling Imogen up with her. She peered down at the map, hoping that there was some semblance of a plan. “This is the layout, everything I’ve seen from every visit to that fucking mansion, including the first one.”
“When she shoved you out a window,” Imogen said tautly.
“Exactly, so I know there’s a fucking window here.” Ashton stubbed an angry finger into the map. “Every construct I’ve seen, every protective rune.” There was poorly hidden entreaty when they added, “Do you think you can do it?”

Ashton asks the witches to help them break into Hexum Manor. It goes about as well as you’d expect.

Summary
It would be delusional to think that she’d somehow awakened Laudna’s sexuality from across two walls and twenty feet of grass and pavement. All they’ve done is make dinner together in separate kitchens at three in the morning and send a stupid number of texts. All she is is a neighbor. And they've never even met.
She sends the picture anyway.

Summary
The girl, barred from scattering along with the animals by the unwieldy human shape of her, is lying flat and still on the ground with her face pressed in the cold mud, straining her neck to keep watching the torchbearers. She probably isn’t thinking of the fact that she can’t hide from the forest itself as it watches and waits. It doesn’t know why two of its black eyes can’t leave this girl—perhaps because somewhere it hopes she stays right where she is, pressed against its ground.
The woods find a girl on the run, and it sends its very best monster after her.

Summary
“Fine!” she says. “All right, fine, if you’ll stop fucking talking and let me answer! It’s just that—well, what if she—I think that she—Ashton, what if she, what if she wants one of these?”
“A hat?”
Laudna throws it at him. “A wedding, you absolute monster.”
“Uh.” Ashton looks more amused than anything else, really; it’s insulting. They pick up the hat and put it back on her head. “Honestly? I’m pretty sure she’d just tell you?”
“That’s the problem,” Laudna wails, and she throws herself down into a disconsolate pile of knob-ended bones.Or: Lieve’tel married Laudna and Imogen, more or less. Right? Now, though, the Hells are enjoying a beach vacation for Jester’s wedding. And Laudna is panicking.

Summary
The sorcerer should not have survived, which means that the gods have their hands in this.
Again.
(If you recognize her, do her a favor and do not say her name aloud. Names have power.)
Imogen is a hero, sent by fate, who means no harm to the land or its inhabitants and only wants to get home to her love. Fearne, both the land and its inhabitant, finds her terribly fascinating. (An Odyssey AU. No knowledge of Homer's Odyssey required.)
