San's ear flickered but he otherwise pretended as though Wooyoung hadn't spoken at all. Wooyoung sighed, exasperated.“Sannie, go take a bath right now. It's been a week and I'm not putting up with this any longer.”
Slowly, calculated, San turned around to face Wooyoung, his tail swishing behind him. Then he hissed.
“Did you just hiss at me?”

“Are you sure you two want to do this?” San asked nervously.
“To foster?” Hongjoong asked. San nodded. “Yes, Sannie, we do. Hwa and I have talked about it for a while now, and we think it would be great for a lot of reasons.”
“We would get to make a positive difference in a hybrid’s life,” Seonghwa added. “Unfortunately, not every hybrid is as privileged as you and Wooyoung. And I think you two would really enjoy meeting other hybrids. The new hybrid could learn a lot from you two and your different relationships with us, and help them decide their own path in life.”
Seonghwa and Hongjoong decide they want to try fostering from a local shelter, helping hybrids find their forever homes. But a certain Doberman catches their attention—and it becomes clear that letting him go might be harder than they ever imagined.
