Summary
Business took Matt out of the office the day after the alleged boat theft. As such, he was not there to block Danny’s entry. He was not there to bar the door. Danny had no way of knowing this; however, so when he slammed into their office front door it swung open hard and fast into the neighboring bookshelf.
Danny stood breathless in the entryway looking absolutely bewildered. His breathing was labored. His eyes were wild and had a gleam, backlit with a touch of mania.
“Firstly, Matt’s not here,” Foggy calmly informed from where he stood by the combo printer/fax machine. “Secondly, Daniel Thomas Rand, the glass in that door better still be in one piece.”
“It’s not- I mean- It is- He’s not- I’m not,” Danny clenched his fists with the effort it took to hit the breaks on his brand new stutter. He sucked in a large gulp of air. “I didn’t do it!”
“You and everyone else here,” cackled Mrs.Grabler.
TL;DR- There’s an Iron Fist doppelgänger going around NYC. One could say this was causing some problems.

Summary
"Exile still seems the best option, Stoick..."
Stoick should have known better. While he didn't know much about his son-especially now-he knew the boy was clever. It should have been no surprise when a guard burst into the Council Meeting and revealed that Hiccup had escaped the cell Stoick put him in...hours after the boy was revealed to have saddled a dragon.
Hiccup is gone, and so is the beast.
They search, but do not find him. Berk falls asleep one night and awakens in the Great Hall, where the torches come to life and cast an image of their isle on the wall, from which floats Hiccup's voice, years younger.
AKA, Hiccup forfeited the final challenge, leaving Astrid with the right to kill the Nightmare. Story picks up in the Race to the Edge era, except Berk never learned the truth of dragons, no one knows how Hiccup really lost his leg, and stories of a hooded 'vigilante' riding a Night Fury have been long whispered...and Berk will see it all unfold.
