Summary
“Hey mate, good practice today.” he claps him on the shoulder, jerking Nick forward a bit by the strength.
“Thanks man.” Nick gives a half tired smile. He’s about to grab his bag and head out before Adrian speaks up again.
“Not even that extra meat on your bones can slow you down.” Adrian chuckles a bit and heads towards his own locker.
His comment leaves Nick a little stunned but he shakes his head and leaves the locker room. He knows it’s common to gain a little weight when starting uni, but he’s never paid much attention to his body.
