It was no secret that Sugishita adored Bofurin’s leader, even worshipped the ground in which the older boy stood. And while others could understand why one would look up to someone as kind and respectable as Umemiya, it remained a mystery just what exactly had happened between the two for a kid as standoffish as Sugishita to trail after someone like a lost little duckling.
