    Honestly, it happened more than they were really willing to admit, but that was mostly just because they were used to it. When they were working with the other Zappers, a gig they were more than willing to get out of with their newfound Mike duties, their symptoms were usually disregarded as laziness, not paying attention, that sort of thing. They honestly hadn’t even considered the fact that something might be genuinely wrong until they started working with Battat, who actually questioned what their deal was.

    Granted, it had been a while since they’d had an episode this immediately disorienting. The moment they sat up from their bed, they had to catch themself before they tipped forward enough to collapse onto the ground. Bracing themself against their mattress, they assessed the situation before announcing to themself, “well, that ain’t good.”
