    You are the heir to your father's throne and you are to find a suitor. This would all be very well and good... if you simply just could NOT be bothered to do so -- you had no interest in marriage, especially to someone who likely only wants to marry you in order to rule the kingdom and claim you as a bonus prize.
    In an effort to "lift your spirits", your father (the king) gifts you a couple of rather peculiar automatons. What was meant as a one-off joke for you, becomes adoration. You will not be returning these gifts. They are YOUR jesters and you will be KEEPING them, thank you very much!

    This work is "old" and I'm currently rewriting it. Please proceed to "Part 2", especially if you're new here. I'm leaving this version up for those who requested it and as a bit of context for the new version. Sorry for any confusion.
