For centuries, Crowley’s been stealing kisses when Aziraphale’s blackout drunk. He doesn’t get enough chances.
But in the morning, after waking up by himself on a hard couch, while he was trying to decide whether to just discorporate or throw himself at Aziraphale’s feet and say I’m sorry, I know, you’re an angel, I’m a demon, I took advantage, I won’t do it again, he’d heard Aziraphale say “Oh Lord, my head. Do you remember anything about last night? Because it’s all blank to me after we opened that third jug.” He’d thought, all right, either he wants to help us both save face, and he’s letting me know we can’t let it happen again, or he really doesn’t remember and I had better never remind him.

After the Apocanot, it becomes Crowley's home as well. When Aziraphale succumbs to his time of the millennium, it becomes a sanctuary while he is vulnerable and flightless. And also, it turns out, as the nexus of the little group of humans and one (1) demon who love him more than he ever thought was possible.

After finishing at the Fire Academy, Buck’s stopped on his way out by Captain Bobby Nash from the 118 — the most talked-about station in LA. Nash offers him a spot as their new probie, impressed by his background as a dispatcher and his record-breaking run through training.
But Buck turns him down. He knows what went down under the last captain, Gerard, and he’s not about to walk into a place still recovering from that kind of mess. He tells Nash the team needs time, trust, and probably therapy before anyone new shows up. When Nash flinches at the word “therapy,” Buck figures he made the right call.

Harry’s eyes go wide. The dragon can speak? Can all dragons speak? Or is it just the ones that live with the goblins? They have to talk to each other somehow, right?
“A human horcrux,” the dragon rumbles, looking pleased. “Never before has one graced my hoard. I will take good care of you, young wizard, until my dying day.”
Harry worries at his lip before nodding. He’d rather take a dragon than go back to the Dursleys after being gone all this time. They wouldn’t be happy with him, especially with the dirt and mud on his hands and in his hair.
At six years old, Harry finds a hole in the ground that leads to a new stage in his life. He meets a goblin, makes a new friend, and finds out that one of the Great Ones has been searching for him. Somehow, an ancient dragon is a better guardian than the Dursleys ever were.
