𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐮𝐧 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. after years of your older brothers receiving catastrophic injuries and the death of the brother you were closest to, to save your younger brothers, you decide to enter the race to finally absolve the mountains of debt your family had collected. except here's the kicker: you're afraid of almost everything, you can just barely ride a horse, and you've disguised yourself as a man.
after meeting a former jockey and an asshole italian who act differently around you when you're out of your disguise, you try your best to keep your two identities completely separate for the sake of your fears. of course, getting proposed to by a british jockey who could see through the disguise with prehistoric senses and a nun who has also disguised herself as a man wouldn't help much. all you can hope now is that you can still get that money.

the straw hats are worn out by the time they leave the navarrone marine base. the octopus has already deflated twice on their journey to get back on track with the logpose and nami isn’t sure how many more of luffy’s “are we there yet”s she can take. so when the logpose decides to shoot them over to an island robin had only seen on one of the many maps she stole, nami can’t complain. it seems they’re too low on everything to change course now. plus, it’s not like oetia is all that dangerous…

it's a decade later that gojo appears in your classroom, the smirk on his face that you used to mirror on his face. you should tell him to fuck off, you know, but your students are squealing and he's giving you a different look, and suddenly you're back in jujutsu high again. you're back, running around playing pranks on nanami, laughing with haibara, and chatting with shoko. somewhere in there too, you're looking at geto when he isn't looking, hoping for him to do the same- because you don't like the way he's looking at you now.

after finding a naked man in the dirt with the star birthmark your great-great-grandmother described in her diary, you're convinced that he is a joestar, even if he can't seem to remember enough to prove it. in this case, even if he is a jojo, you're pretty sure that your great-great-grandmother would have wanted you to help him. plus, you've been needing inspiration for your manga lately.
