Summary
When the woman was four blocks away, she stopped running and looked up at Batwoman and Black Bat on the roof, the wisps of the black cloud that had been surrounding her dissipating in an instant. The three woman were motionless, staring at each other. Batwoman broke the silence, muttering quietly. "What the hell? There's no way she spotted us, it's a new moon." Black Bat's hand drifted towards her grappling hook and the woman suddenly took off down a side alley, away from the two of them.
Skitter gets transported to Gotham after Gold Morning, and has to deal with a new city, and the new heroes and villains that reside there.

Cute Batfam fic, starring Skitter and her bi awakening. We were less invested in the plot than the ship, but the plot is good enough and the ship is delightful.

Found this via Scribble Hub - fun VRMMO-isekai premise, and the occasional views of the protagonist from the outside are neat. The game mechanics are neat to explore, too. Read up to 74.

Summary
Spider Woman is everything Penny Parker is not.
Spider Woman is brave and strong and confident.
Penny Parker is small and jumpy and has panic attacks in the bathrooms.
Spider Woman talks incessantly.
Penny Parker hasn't said a single word since she walked into school four years ago with haunted eyes and bruises circling her neck.
Spider Woman stops bad things from happening.
Penny Parker can barely make it through each day.Spider Woman is everything Penny Parker is not, so how can they be the same person? Even Penny can't explain it, she just knows that for the first time in a long, long time, she isn't helpless anymore.
But then she gets an internship at Stark Industries, and Tony Stark starts taking an interest in Penny Parker.
And then Natasha Romanoff starts taking an interest in Spider Woman and this Really Wasn't Part Of The Plan. But Spider Woman can talk and Penny Parker can't, so surely even they can't work it out...right?
Rating is for mentions of past rape and present trauma.

Bookmarker's Notes
A clever portal fantasy within the world of Worm fantasy – Sophia Hess is thrown from Brockton Bay into a world where the capes of canon Worm are gods in pantheons, and is drawn into a war there.
The main protagonist, Miriam, is a delight – noble and compassionate and brave and selfless – and the way Sophia changes as she spends time in this new world are cool to see. The religions of the setting are fascinating reinterpretations of the casts of Worm and Ward, with strange and delightful details. And the battles! The fight scenes and battle scenes both are terrific – clear and comprehensible, but also dramatic and tense.
It's good. We like it.
