The tears are flooding down Martin’s face before he’s taken three steps down the footpath outside. He fumbles in his pocket for a tissue and more or less just sobs into it for a while. Which is why, when someone steps onto the pavement in front of him as he exits through the gate, and says, “Martin, why are you crying?” it takes him completely by surprise.

Or, Jon, in the throes of paranoia, stalks Martin all the way down to Devon when he goes to visit his mum. But when Martin comes out of the care home in floods of tears, he finds himself inexplicably incensed with whoever made it happen.

Edit: Please see the note. I am aware of Jons ability to nod and type and such. I actually am paid to communicate with non verbal people. This story is built on the idea of no one recognizing Jon. If he tells them "hey, I'm Jon!" then the story would be like two chapters long. You can stop telling me every chapter that they can communicate. I know. I know the same way Agatha Christie knows who done it and then doesn't tell you till the end. Because if you solve the problem of the story the story ends.

Klaus is not a bad person compared to the Earth's entire population, he is not even a bad person compared to everyone in the Hargreeves family (it would be hard to top Dad); but compared to Ben, he is the worst person in existence. Compared to Ben, he is an idiot. Compared to Ben, he is a failure.
To fall is a relative term and when his family looks at their (very limited and isolated) time with Ben and at their time knowing Klaus… it is clear who has fallen from grace and who has risen to greatness.
It is clear that, relatively, he could have done so much better.
OR
"I heard a rumor," He desperately tries to cover his ears but it's to no avail; his irises slip into a milky white, "that you do whatever Ben tells you to do."

He's just now getting used to it, coming to terms that he has to hide out in the Witchwood for the Halloween weekend. However, fate would have it that he wouldn't be alone in those woods. Stephanie Lauter, his girlfriend, stumbles upon his secret, and chooses to help him out. They think everything is fine, but those woods hold more secrets than they could possibly ever imagine. They might just find the source of his curse. Or maybe.. The source will find them first.

And in that moment, Curt knew that he was in too deep. Moving on be damned, Curt would do it over countless times if only for the chance to hear his name from Owen’s mouth again.

Summary
Wiggly and his brothers are used to ruling the Black. In their spare time they enjoy tormenting those in the human world, as well as their sister in the White, Webby. On one fateful day, the Lords take it a bit too far, and as a last resort Webby unleashes a powerful spell against them. This spell strips them of their power and status, banishing them to the human world. Without their abilities, they must find the Black Book in the human world to regain their title as The Lords in Black. On the way they will have to come to grips with their new found mortality and beg a few reluctant nerds for help. Meanwhile a new villain rises, another mysterious figure seeking to purge Hatchetfield High. Except this time, the Lords aren't safe. This time they look just like the primary victim type: nerds.

Summary
A man wakes up in a frosted over ally way with no recollection of how he got there. the only thing he has on him is a cryptic note with his name and a backpack full of strange gear.
He's taken in by Cleo and Water under the agreement he will help run the bar under their apartment. Very quickly he learns the people around him may hide things.
and more importantly.....that the very few memories that slip through in his own mind tell a story that's twisted. and the only way to regain the rest of it back is breaking the law to become a vigilante.
Unlucky for him tensions are rising, people are disappearing, and some greater threat is slowly creeping out ready to strike down everyone in their weakest moments.
(Aka! Traffic series members are heroes, and pirates as vigilantes. And Sparrow gets caught in the center of the cross fire due to a dark past)

Jimmy finally locked eyes with Scott, a look of deep uncertainty settling behind them.

He grimaced at the blood on his fingers and licked it. He wasnt sure why he did that, but in a way it was to tease Apo.. even if he was dead, he still felt joyful to think of the half-demons horrified face.
He used his javelin to push Apos remains into the lava nearby. He heard the body sizzle as he licked his other fingers. The blood tasted odd.. but in a way, kind of addicting. He chuckled at the silly thought.
