After Adrien moves out of the mansion for university, he can't face the idea of going back for any reason, especially not for something that's supposed to be about togetherness, like the holidays.
Instead, he hires himself out to other students at his university, trading his natural ability to be a little shit for small things, like Yule log and not being alone.
Everything is going according to plan... until Adrien's hired by one of his best friends. Suddenly, nothing is going according to plan. And maybe, just maybe, that's going to give Adrien everything he's ever wanted.

“Is she okay?” Zuko asks, swallowing the lump in his throat.
Understanding dawns on Katara’s face and she carefully shuffles out from underneath the sheets, swinging her legs off the bed so that her feet make a soft thump on the carpeted floor.
OR: Years after the Agni Kai, Zuko still suffer from bouts of panic. Luckily, Katara is always there to keep him steady.

The deep furrow of his brow and the tense set of his jaw gives her pause. His eyes are stormy and conflicted, so Katara bites her tongue, spins on her heel, and remembers a prince clad in black and red who spits fire and only knows how to take.
Against all odds, in the moments between now and the end, Katara falls for Zuko.

There's no way this can backfire on her.
The girl in line waiting for Adrien to ring her up is cute, but it's her delight at being able to help someone in need that catches Adrien's eye. He'll do almost anything to get her to come back so he can get her number - even offer to teach her how to knit when he has no idea how to do it himself.
Maybe they were meant to be all along.
