Even if Yin Yu made a lot of effort to get over the pain from the past and to clear the misunderstandings with Quan Yizhen, the main obstacle for his healing was his own inability to forgive himself and to accept Quan Yizhen’s love, what’s more: to admit he craves it, or consider that he deserves such a thing. Conflicting feelings strain the seams of his mended soul, but fortunately for him, Quan Yizhen is there to take care of him. He’s always been ready.
