he finds them everywhere – on his coat, tangled in his comb, on the floor of his bathroom and he thinks he must be going insane. after five shots of death after noon, when his brain is thrumming with so much noise that he needs to retch, kaeya thinks with an inexplicable urgency that he needs to find them all.
it would be conceited to think that kaeya wasn't anybody without the ragnvindrs. sometimes, he thinks it anyway.

most engaged with is a tweet from a tartaglia updates account with a video of aforementioned tartaglia sitting on the railings of an apartment, legs swinging casually as an all too familiar redhead faces him. diluc’s place is on the top floor, so the quality of the footage is low, but there’s no mistaking it – kaeya’s brother was being chatted up by none other than local superhero-slash-vigilante right at the comfort of his own balcony.
diluc ragnvindr is under the impression he's tangled in a love triangle between roommate ajax romanov and mondstadt city's beloved crimefighter, tartaglia. spoiler alert: he's not.

After three years separated from the boy who used to be his brother, Kaeya's life had taken on a new normal. One where he had replaced his former brother in the Knights of Favonious.
