"There it is," Hyunjin says, pointing at Jisung's contemplative face. "You're not heartbroken, just horny and vindictive."
"You know me so well, baby." Jisung claps his hands once. "Now focus. Tell me what Mr. Lee is into."
Hyunjin blinks. "What?"
Jisung crouches in front of him, eyes gleaming as he takes Hyunjin's limp hands in his for good measure. "Does he like twinks with perky asses? Whiny bottoms? Come on, give me something to work with!"
"How would I know?" Hyunjin says and sighs like a man who knows he won't get out of this alive. Not if he doesn't play along. So he shrugs. "From what I know he likes expensive bourbon, cats and arguing with judges."
Jisung considers that for a moment, then nods. "I can work with that."
Hyunjin whimpers. "Of course you can."
Or: Jisung's boyfriend cheats on him. He decides to fuck his dad in retaliation.

Summary
A garbled, dry laugh bubbles up from his chest.
Yeah, sure. Of course. A wolf finds him, just in time for dinner. He doesn't even have the energy to panic, his body feels like it's dissolving into the dirt. Becoming one with the forest floor.
Death by wolf. So on brand.
The warmth of the wet snout vanishes and, weirdly, Jisung almost misses it. There had been something oddly comforting in the nosing. Gentle, even.
Then someone swears. Human. Soft. Nearly drowned out by the rain. Jisung hadn't heard anyone approach.
"Hey," that someone says, and suddenly there are hands on Jisung's shoulders. Gentle. Firm. "Can you hear me?"
(Or: Jisung is an aspiring producer in a slump, following his best friend out to the countryside for a change of pace. What he finds there might change more than just his perspective.)

Jisung doesn’t seem to agree.
“Are they?” He challenges. “Because mine’s right here.” Jisung lays his hand across his heart. Then, with the slightest twitch of hesitation, places the same hand across Minho’s chest— Minho’s heart. “And here.”
Minho and Jisung have been in love with each other for as long as they can remember. The strained relationship between their families complicates things.

“Of course.” Jisung nods, scooting his chair forward. “It’s all incredibly professional.” He looks down at the writeup Minho slides in front of him. His eyebrows pull together. He looks back up. “You’re not a vampire, are you? I’ve heard they make great history teachers. Y’know, because of the primary source of it all.”
Minho pushes his tongue into his cheek, fighting off another smile. “Do I look like a vampire, Mr. Han?”
Jisung shrugs. “You’re hot, and in your prime, and your teeth do look a little sharp…”
“Stop looking at my teeth. Let’s focus on Jongseob.” Minho taps his finger on the desk. He manages to hold back his traitorous smirk until Jisung breaks eye contact. He doesn’t enjoy when men know they’re working for him.
“Sure, sure,” Jisung shakes his head like he’s trying to remove Minho from his mind. “My very capable, smart nephew. Not his hot vampire teacher.”
Minho is Jisung's nephew's history teacher. They meet at parent-teacher conferences.

Summary
Nothing in Minho's life is ever complete until he's shared it with Jisung; such has been the case for the last twenty years. It gets to a point.
He's seen Jisung interact with countless patients and families. He’s seen how his charm and confidence make even the parents who side eye him for his youthful face and the tattoos on his arms come to trust him with their entire worlds. The children themselves are even quicker to warm up to him, and Jisung is always able to examine them without any major fuss.
Sometimes Minho wishes he could send him off to do his rounds for him.

Jisung rested his hands on Minho’s shoulders the second he was within reach. “You know you're too old to be doing stuff like that, ahjussi.”
“You’re calling me old a lot this evening Jisung-ah.” Minho’s hands settled firmly on Jisung’s ass. “That’s not very nice.”
Minho’s voice set a heat haze shimmering across his body. The silver hair at Minho’s temples glinted in the light spilling from the door, Jisung bit his lip.
“That’s okay. You know what they say hyung, you’re only as old as the man that you feel. I’ll keep you young.”
Or: Jisung still loves Minho after decades together, grey hairs and all.

Summary
Minho has so much money in his bank account that he pays Jisung much more than they had initially agreed on. So much more that Jisung gained a kind of financial security that allowed him to stop going out with other clients two months into their arrangement; enough that Jisung could pull through for a few months if Minho decided to let him go.
But Minho takes him by the hand and he doesn’t look like he wants to.

Minho glanced up from his frankly confusing artisanal breakfast sandwich, following the jut of Jisung’s chin to the man in question.
“Hmmm, four.”
“Four?” Jisung’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. “That’s generous.”
Minho shrugged, then took a sip of his coffee, “I think he’ll look at you. With distaste, obviously. And tell you all the reasons you’ve insulted him by thinking he would ever be an option for you.”
It was a game they’d been playing for as long as Minho could remember, a one to ten scale of how likely Jisung was to get a date with whatever stranger caught his eye that day. One was no response, not even a look. Ten was an immediate yes.
Minho had never guessed ten.
