Summary
For almost twenty years, Su Changhe had buried his feelings. He had watched Su Muyu become the most unattainable existence in his life, desired by many, yet never his. He had forced himself to endure, to suppress, to hide the jealousy that burned through him every time someone else got too close. Until now, when the infernal demonic energy took hold, breaking apart every chain of restraint he had placed on himself. Until he found Muyu standing beside someone else. Changhe knew, deep inside, that Muyu had done nothing wrong, but the jealousy that had been locked away for so long erupted like a wildfire, consuming him, drowning him.
So this time, he wouldn’t bury it, wouldn’t hold back. This time, he would have Su Muyu completely without escape. And when Muyu’s body trembled in his arms, when his breath broke into desperate sobs, when his lips parted not in refusal but in pleading surrender, Changhe knew there would be no turning back.
Muyu was his, and he would never let him go again.
