    Optimus Prime returns to his base a few days after his… adventure… with the Rescue bots, but is still struggling with his new alt form. Ratchet urges Optimus to get used to his new alt, but no one could have guessed what would happen to the bot when he finally did. Optimus is forced to try and navigate his dino-bot form in a hurry, whilst the rest of the team learns how hard it can be to draw a weapon on one of their own.

    Trying to fix a broken world is harder than anyone would think. Optimus is doing it because who else can, he’s Prime after all and it’s his duty to protect and make sure that now after the war everyone can heal, including himself.

    But what no one realizes is that the matrix has other plans that involve him no longer baring that title. He is not who is needed for what is to come, someone new has to take the mantle. Someone who almost no one expects to be chosen, someone who doesn’t believe himself to ever be deserving of it.

    A certain firebot is forced to become the face of that everyone watches and the voice that they now have to ask of what’s next. He really just wants to go back to his regular life, he doesn’t see himself as a prime.

    But soon he’ll realize that he is the one who’s needed for the future of humans and bots.
