Summary
After a heat spent with Seonghwa, Hongjoong is left unmoored. His pack mates start acting weird, his best friend avoids him, and he can't figure out where it all went wrong.
Or: The one where Hongjoong is the last to figure out he got knocked up, and everyone else is too high on his scent to act rational.

Summary
When Hongjoong only answered this with a shy nod to indicate that he'd heard, Seonghwa shifted, drawing his legs in and crossing them under himself. He cleared his throat, suddenly much more strained. "You seem very interested in my reproductive cycle, Captain," he pointed out carefully.
Hongjoong's face flushed immediately, back stiffening until he was sitting ramrod straight. "I— It's just that it's so different, you know? From humans. It's not... there's no other reason, I was just—" He kept rambling, trying to come up with some reasonable excuse for why he was so curious, until the alien sitting at his side managed to embolden himself enough to place gentle fingertips on his captain's shoulder. Hongjoong nearly jumped out of his skin, clamping his thighs together, and when he finally looked up at Seonghwa, he realized the alien had noticed this movement as well.
"Apologies for making assumptions, Captain, but you wouldn't perhaps be interested in incubating my eggs, would you?"
OR
In order to avoid having to lock Seonghwa away until the end of his monthly cycle, Hongjoong takes one for the team by volunteering to carry his alien crewmate's sizeable clutch of eggs.

Hongjoong piled the stuff from his backpack onto his bed, San watching him with confusion.
A shirt, another shirt, and a t-towel?
"Hongjoong? What are you doing?"
"Those aren't yours are they?" San could clearly smell an Alpha from them.
"Hongjoong!"
"I would've taken his underwear too, but then I thought that might be a bit weird…" Hongjoong finally spoke up.
