Summary
Shouto feels trapped in the small, conservative town where he lives.
Worse than that, he has a special ability that allows him to hear the thoughts of everybody that surrounds him. It could be a nice power if: one, he had some interest in gossip and two, he wasn't scarred by his past, weighted down by the fear of what might happen again.
So Shouto resigns himself to keep living like this, daydreaming about a better life when the sexy vampire Katsuki arrives in town and surprise, surprise... Shouto's ability doesn't work on him.
It also seems the vampire is interested in Shouto.
