"-Body momentarily going limp as neon green spit drained from his mouth into the bowl. A shiver raked its way through the lithe scientist's body, a feverish feeling overtaking him as his grip on the bowl ceased. His body jerked however, not letting his hands fall, instead he placed them more so on the top, the feeling of his sweat stricken skin touching the cold porcelain almost comparable to a dull stab, a stab which never ceased."

Jedidiah hadn’t realized how bad of a flareup Sydney had been having today until he fell getting up from his bed and promptly began to let out hushed sobs, the pain too much to stay inside any longer. An AU idea (inspired by this post) where Stan threw a rope to Ford as he was being pulled into the portal. He let go of his journal in favor of grabbing the rope and it was lost to Bill's dimension. Stan had saved him and for that, he was grateful. They talked and forgave each other for the past and all seemed well for as much as a day. That was when Bill's ruthless anger became apparent and he took full advantage of his deal with Ford. Thirty years later, the demon is still punishing him for his refusal to rebuild the portal.

Hunter looked ready to protest again, but his Palisman landed on the tall man’s shoulder and nuzzled against his Abomination beard. The boy looked between Flapjack and Darius before he let out a sigh. The action made his shoulders slump and his face age with a disassociated resolution that Darius thought no child should ever have the ability to express.
As the tall witch drew a spell circle around himself on the ground with his boot, he held out a hand for Hunter. “Eberwolf will stay here to throw off any potential retaliation from Belos. He shouldn’t think to come here, but just in case, they’ll be ready. Eber, if Raine comes back from the Night Market, let them know I have Hunter. In the meantime, let’s get you a warm bath and new clothes.”
