Summary
Mando’s as good as promised he’s going to stick around, and Cobb would love to believe him. He really would. But he knows better. Mando’s going to leave. Maybe not soon, maybe not for a few years even, but eventually. Everyone leaves on Tatooine, whether they want to or not. Mando’s already practised at it. He’d rather not give him more reason to. Cobb’s big enough to acknowledge that he’s a cocky son of a gundark most of the time, but he isn’t delusional enough to think whatever is growing between them is sprouting fast enough to keep Mando tethered to Mos Pelgo. Not when Grogu’s gonna have a gravity well of his own soon enough, one leading far away from Tatooine.
But Mando is here for now. Cobb can eke out some happiness from whatever time they have. It might be hard, but Cobb is a miner, he's used to hard work and hard graft with little reward, progress etched painstakingly into the earth until suddenly a treasure glints beneath your hands.
(He can't help but think about the glint of the sun off of Mando's armour.)
Mando left, and then he came back. Cobb's still dealing with it.

Summary
Bato felt crazy, turned on and too warm and far too horny for seven in the evening. Hakoda’s hand swept under his shirt and rucked it up, a hot palm rubbing at the rangy muscles of his back, and Bato wanted the shirt gone. His skin was a little tacky with the sweat that seemed to accumulate during travel regardless of the actual temperature but Hakoda didn’t seem to mind, mouth dragging back to meet his own. Their hips were moving now and they were too old to get off like this, but as desperate as he was Bato didn’t want to have to move, instead settling into an uneven rhythm, breathing messily into each other’s mouths.
Part two of 'Bato and Hakoda don't deal well with being apart', with some cute family interactions but mostly a lot of reunion sex.

Bato is getting slightly desperate. He’s been wracking his brain trying to remember what he’s done to offend the spirits, because he must’ve done something. There’s no other explanation for the giant cosmic joke being played on him. Every time he tries to propose to Hakoda – and that’s including the times he hadn’t even planned anything, had just been hit by a moment when it had been all he could think of - they get interrupted.

Summary
Bato and Hakoda rarely travelled for work, with Kya the one taking fairly regular trips, mostly to Kyoshi Island, but sometimes further afield. Having Bato move in full-time made child-care much easier, although as Sokka and Katara got older and more independent that became less important. When Kya was away, as much as she missed everyone, she very much enjoyed her time alone. Despite her bubbly nature, she was an introvert at heart, and liked to sprawl out in bed without fear of kicking him or Hakoda. Both he and Hakoda were fully understanding, but for the two of them a lifetime of living in each other’s pockets was only exacerbated by spending so much time together. They still spent time apart of course – work and hobbies and a slightly differing circle of friends – but on the whole Bato would admit they were rather…clingy.
Bato is away and finds himself missing Hakoda more than he thought he would. An exploration of their life in a modern world, and a phone call that is a thinly veiled excuse to have Bato and Hakoda be both sickeningly sweet and call each other dickhead.

Here's what I started with:
I want to see a fic where instead of Wayne taking Gordon to expensive restaurants and driving him around in fancy cars and dressing him up in designer clothes, Gordon takes Wayne around to diners with sticky tables where they serve shitty coffee, and to his postage stamp apartment with its single spring bed, and Wayne wears Gordon's cheap t-shirts and sweats and worn out boxers, and Gordon makes eggs and eats noodles out of a pan, and goes for jogs in ratty sneakers to pick up cheap cigarettes and Wayne can't get the smell out of his $5,000 suit for a week. Oh, and it turns Bruce on.
Again, not a lot of plot.
