The room falls completely silent for a long moment as everyone's gazes slowly turn to Minho. The cat shifter remains calm, not meeting anyone's eyes and instead staring at the kitten.
It's cold, early winter, and while the Bang Pack agreed not to adopt a pet anytime soon, nothing opposes wrapping a shivering kitten in his scarf and taking her home, so Chan finds. He does, however, know that he has a certain cat hybrid at home who may, or may not, be unhappy about this.
Turns out that he very much isn't mad about it.

The piece of himself that he's spent so much time burying as deep down as he can that he doesn't even know if it's still there. It is, his brain reminds him. It's never gone anywhere. It's right there, below the surface and clawing as it's cage to be let out like some rabid dog.
