Summary
She puts the bottle back in the bathroom cabinet, the amber liquid rolling in it’s own tiny sea. A light dab to each side of her neck is all it took. Now she carries the memory with her day long, inexorably tied to the scent she willingly applied. Is it obsession? Is it yearning? Could she do anything about it, should she?
The power lies in her hands. The paper burning in the recesses of her mind. The number safely stored in the device in her pocket.
Or
Vi is the lead singer of the Firelights, an alt metal band. She books a holiday with the intention of having some rest and reflection. Instead, something else finds her.

Summary
Vander puts Vi in a tight spot, literally. Her suit no longer fits and apparently she's now been muscled into needing to wear it. Curse her kids and their adorable enthusiasm, who even wrote that nomination anyway? This in turn puts Caitlyn in a tight spot.
Or where Caitlyn has a job she loves, but needs to keep herself hidden away from her customers. The Kiramman name would draw too much attention from what she loves, after all.

Summary
Vi has been saving for a tattoo and has been searching for the right person to ink it. Luckily she tracks down a local tattoo artist who has the right style and upcoming availability. Unfortunately(?) she also happens to be the hottest woman that Vi has ever seen. Can Vi survive the ordeal with her pants intact?
This is literally all banter, fluff and smut. There is no angst. Both our girls are living a decent life in a Zaun unafflicted by a shimmer crisis. Think 2x07 style AU but Vi didn't die. Also kind of a modern AU cus they have phones and the internet. Vander is still alive, Silco is dead and gone. Powder and all the other kids are doing awesome.

“I just wanted to let you know that I have a… side gig, of sorts.”
“Oh? Are you a hitman, or something?” Caitlyn smiles, trying to lighten the mood.
“No,” Vi doesn’t laugh. “I do porn, sort of.”
Or: when Jayce moves out unexpectedly, Caitlyn moves in with his trainer, and oh no, she's hot.

Caitlyn fixed Vi with a calculating look. “Before you agree, I need to let you know that I have some... peculiar preferences.”
“Okay, let's hear it.”
Caitlyn took a breath. “First, neither of us will physically touch the other.”
“Uh, what?”

Summary
Ask her if she reads. No, dumb—she clearly reads.
Say something about the weather. What are you, eighty?
Comment on the book. Too obvious. She’ll know you were staring.
Just say literally anything—“Here you go.” Vi set the coffee down gently, voice a little hoarse. “Black. No sugar. Same cupcake as last time.”
Cait looked up at her with that soft, surprised smile again—like Vi had done something remarkable just by remembering.
“Thank you,” she said, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “You’re very kind.”
Vi scratched the back of her neck, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. She didn’t want to leave. She wanted to stay right there.
But her throat went dry. The café buzzed around them, and Vi’s brain—usually quick, sharp—offered nothing.
Idiot.
__________As December nears, Cait arrives in Zaun, hoping to find a sense of home—something to anchor her through the harshness of military training. She finds it in a quiet café, and in the girl behind the counter who takes her breath away. Truth is, they leave each other breathless.
Neither of them is prepared for what fate has in store for their tragic, yet beautiful story.
