    “I don’t know why you still think I’m bluffing—or maybe you’ve hit your head too hard. I’m going to fucking kill you.” A faint glow builds at the back of Dark’s throat. Fire seeps out between his teeth in thin, searing wisps as he rises from the floor, straightening to his full height.
    “But don’t worry, I’ll make it quick.”

    The Chosen One stares at Dark like he doesn’t recognize the person standing in front of him. Disbelief hardens in his expression, his lips parting as if he can’t bring himself to accept the words.

    So really, he thought, a simple trip to the wizarding world for tea couldn’t possibly be that bad.

    He was wrong.

    Now he’s somehow become the unofficial emotional support adult of Hogwarts, is being hunted by the house-elves because he keeps fixing castle structural problems himself, dealing with a basilisk situation that Merlin is “pretty sure he dealt with once already, back in the 5th century.” and trying to stop Gilderoy Lockhart from deciding that he is his "professional rival."
