Summary
In a modern day Westeros, the Targaryen's kept their power by creating Valyrian Holdings, the largest international business conglomerate in the world. With the death of the current CEO, Viserys Targaryen, his successor is named. Rhaenyra, the eldest daughter of Viserys and his first wife, will be the next in the long line of Targaryen's to sit in the family's seat of power.
But Viserys wasn't going to leave his daughter without allies. Recalling his adopted brother from the dark corners of Essos where he thrived, Viserys bid Daemon to act as a temporary CEO for three years, until his daughter is ready to take her place.
Rhaenyra isn't sure how to feel about her Daemon's sudden reappearance in her life after tragedy. But she does know that tension between them isn't due to a title. As she adjusts to her newfound power and Daemon's new position in her life, Rhaenyra will discover her world is much darker than her father let on.
And Daemon will be the one to show it to her.
