Dr. Franken Stein is whispered about for his tendency to favor live subjects for his experiments. Those enrolled at the DWMA acknowledge his brilliance but are often warned to be wary of his… unsettling personality.
Stein has found himself particularly engrossed with his latest subject, a witch with a peculiar ability to summon shadows at will and work on a building fear in her victims. He would like to know what she looks like from the inside, but Death would rather not further tarnish the institution’s reputation. Stein is strictly forbidden from causing enough harm to kill the witch, but that doesn’t mean he can’t figure out a way to work around it and still get the satisfaction he deserves.
