The final game had ended days ago.
The cheers were gone. The trophy sat forgotten on a shelf in the classroom. His teammates were still buzzing talking about scholarships, uniforms, and the pros.
Sawamura Eijun... walked home in silence.
The sun had dipped behind the trees by the time he reached the hill. From there, he could see the empty field they’d played on as kids. The old diamond still faintly visible.
A breeze rolled over the dirt, lifting dust into the fading light.
He stayed there for a while.
Just watching.

“Are you going to keep playing?”
His mother’s voice from that morning. Soft. Careful.
“I guess,” Eijun had said, eyes on the floor. “I mean... I don’t hate it.”
She hadn’t asked more.
That night, lying in bed with his glove on the windowsill, Eijun stared at the ceiling.
Everyone kept talking about high school. About Koshien. About scouts.
But when he closed his eyes, all he saw was dirt, a spinning ball, the sound of the mitt.
That was it.
No crowd. No spotlight.
Just that moment.
And for now, it was enough.

Summary
Eijun isn’t feeling like himself. Ever since he hit Shirakawa’s helmet in the match against Inashiro, his mental health has just kept spiraling down. Something isn’t right, and he can’t figure out what. His own mind and thoughts are like an enemy, the team feel far away and the support is nowhere to be seen.
During practice one day, he can’t keep up with his panicked thoughts and collapses.
It’s not only the yips fighting him, it’s also his, apparently, second nature. He can’t tell the team, can’t be of any bigger burden than he already is.The worst part is that he needs help, and he don’t feel like he can ask anyone for it, or trust in the kindness that is shown.

This fic will follow the yips arc, from episode 70 in the anime and forward. The story will weave itself into the Canon universe, giving it a new dimension and leaving a lot of scenes and dialogs intact. -

Eijun never got invited to Seido, no, instead he moved north with his mother when his parents divorced. He never thought his submissive nature would be a problem.
His mother had always told him to stay true to himself and people would like him, no matter what.
That had been a lie.
One conversation, innocent and open, had turned his world upside down in a day. It started small after that, then kept building until he couldn't stand it anymore, and neither could his mother.It took months to get him transfered from that school to another, months to get him out. Months of his mother tugging at every connection she had to find one way out.
And it ended with him moving away from his mother in the end, to Seido in Tokyo and a dorm. A private school of all things.Now Eijun has to decide if he want's to try this thing called trust again, or if he should just try and stay low and out of the way. As long as he's allowed to play baseball, he's okay.

Basically How Zemo has been drive mad by all the Targaryen and Velaryon brats and can do nothing about it but clean all the mess.
_For those who do not know Helmut Zemo, he is (kinda) an anti-hero in the Marvel universe who loses all his family in the Sokovia war and takes destroying all superhumans as an entire life goal. So you can expect a smart and broken man with his miserable past gradually be cured while he is trying to save the day.
