It’s unlikely that a child with no solid foundation upon which to train will ever make much of himself, not when the entire village is conspiring against him. It should be impossible for that child, having no formal education or training, to surpass the likes of Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara through sheer willpower alone. ...that's right...I made a vow with the brat.
"Hey, Yui. You okay?"
Yuuji half expected Yui to shrug it off and give him the finger (as he seemed like one who would do so), but when a smile crept up on Yui's face, and he looked back at Yuuji, there was the obvious indication that something had flipped in the boy, and Yuuji couldn't help but scuff.
"...Too soon, Sukuna?"
"...screw you, brat. My mind is still fuzzy from all those memories that jogged through my brain...and I'm still Yui...Sukuna is a thing of the past. This is my redemption, after all."
"...You're right...it's good to have you back."
