Summary
History is written by the victors.
Aziraphale drifts through the aftermath of the Last War, Adam walks the barren Earth.
The angel seeks solace in a gallery bright with lies and attempts to distract his grieving mind by taking up the craft. The artwork of the gallery is abundant with false scenes, with twisted myths of hellish demons and faltering humanity, with the unquestionable glory of Heaven.
Aziraphale finds himself once more before a scene of Eden. A serpent rears, vile and terrifying, as Eve reaches for an apple that will unravel everything. Aziraphale remembers a very different scene and his heart aches as he wonders on the fate of the serpent, on whether he will ever find passage into the hidden halls of Heaven's prisons.

Summary
An angel walks into an arcane trap and is ever so slightly annoyed at the inconvenience.
Crawly snaps his fingers and one of the markings unravels, shifting into dust brushed aside by a light breeze. Aziraphale is wholly unimpressed.
“Ah, of course,” Aziraphale snips, testing out this new concept known as sarcasm, “How obvious. The glacial pace of a single brushstroke at a time is clearly what is called for here.”
The demons legs bow as Crawly turns away from Aziraphale, emphasizing his incredulity with his whole body. It is unnecessarily dramatic.

Summary
Occasionally, Heaven sends down another of their angels to show face and wrack up some points for the good guys before they're allowed to come home.
Finding wiles to thwart is difficult though and the Earth is large and noisy and dirty. What is a poor, homesick angel to do?
Why, if you can't find a demon, may as well call one. It's thwarting all the same, right?
Crowley is used to leading these idiots a merry chase by now.

Summary
Orders come in secretive whispers driven through his skull, through the scattering of ashes in fireplaces and by the scrolls taped to the feet of annoyed seagulls. Somebody is making their way through the animal kingdom and it's completely uncalled for.
Crowley is pretty sure somebody is messing with him. If Hell wants him to bless a family and cure a nun though, then that is what he is going to do.
Aziraphale understands God's plan is ineffable and never notices anything is amiss as he heads off to fulfil another temptation.

All you have to do, is summon the demon.
Aziraphale looks up at the resulting ethereal ripple and spreads his wings.
