Turns out meeting god would end up being one of the worst things to happen to 4C.

Summary
Of all of Scott's fears in coming to the Blue Kingdom's capitol city—dying in battle, being truly alone for the first time, how his father would handle everything—he did not think to worry about something so mundane as disease. Which really was a mistake on his part, since cities are practically synonymous with illness. The people, the tight quarters, the bodies from the war; all of it is a horrible sickness waiting to happen.
This is especially true when the new monarch of the Red Kingdom brings the plague right across the river. And when Scott starts coughing.

Scott gets sick with what he thinks is the plague soon after arriving to the Blue Kingdom for his compulsory service. He might just worry himself to death before the illness can get him. A couple of knights disagree.

A vast land stretched out before him, shining in the light of the midday sun. To his left, a small river trickled down from an ancient stadium, complete with a small bridge arching over it. To his right, a stark castle overlooked the wheat fields that he hadn’t spotted earlier, 3 towers stretching like fingers into the sky.
“Wow…” ___ breathed out. He’d never seen anything like this before!
He leaned back against the spokes of the crown, admiring the sun and the whisper soft breeze, when a quiet voice broke the quiet.
“4c? Did you come up after me?”
He startled, twisting around. From the shadows of the cliff materialized a curled up figure, a green hood pulled low over their head until just a hint of their ginger hair peeked out. The rim of their hood shifted back slightly as they looked over at him, and mossy green eyes met his.
