"Personally, I think you should be kinder to Hakuba-kun," Aoko says, because she's under the impression that Hakuba is an angel who's come down from heaven with the single mission of ridding them all of KID's existence. "He's been nothing but nice to you."
"I'm not…not nice to him," Kaito says, just a tad defensively. He’s never been outright mean or cruel to Hakuba before, he’s just not extremely enthused by his presence. "It's not like I'm insulting him to his face or pushing him around. I gave him some of my lunch today!"
"I don't think giving him a piece of carrot because you were full constitutes being 'nice', Kaito."
or Ever since Hakuba came into his life, he's been nothing but a thorn in Kaito's side. And no, it doesn't matter that he doesn't realize he's trying to befriend KID, he's still being annoying about it!
