Summary

He turns but doesn’t catch her move. The blonde woman’s violence is a waltz. She flits across the field on the tips of her feet before she pierces her rapier straight into the bandit’s heart, holding him high against her scabbard as he spills red, missing her cloak, pure and white.
“I assume that if you draw steel, you are also prepared to die by it,” she says, watching coldly as she drops the bandit to the ground.

Aether gets a letter on Klee's birthday asking him to pick her up from Liyue...he remembers Ayaka mention in passing that she wanted to try Liyue cuisine and, well, it wouldn't hurt to bring another person on their adventures.
“But—” Ayaka starts, but it’s losing battle. She caves underneath the gaze of the three people in her life she cares the most about. “Alright…” she whispers, because she’s afraid speaking any louder will tell the Gods to punish her again.
Paimon and Tohma cheer, and Aether smiles at her like he did on that night – and all remaining protests fall into prayers instead.
