Summary
Firefighter Dean Winchester is recovering from a work related injury that has left him with a broken leg, compromised lungs, and PTSD. He finds comfort in the knitting videos posted by a local knit shop owner, Castiel Novak. Dean’s therapist suggested that he take up a hobby during his recovery period. He enters the store thinking he’d take up the craft and leaves with the owner's number.
Can Castiel help Dean see that he’s more than just his job?

Summary
Dean Winchester has finally been able to come to his family’s country estate, leaving London and the politics that he detests behind. Given his choice in the matter, Dean would much rather live a life where he could travel and discover the fossils that have long captivated him. But alas, his future is not his own. He is being groomed to succeed his father as the next Lord Winchester, although it is well-known that his younger brother, Sam, is far better suited to that task.
A chance meeting in a tea house of another man of science has Dean thinking thoughts he never before dared to entertain. Dean allows himself to imagine what it would be like to go his own path in the world, and perhaps with the dashing blue-eyed Castiel by his side.
Dean’s musings are dashed when he learns not only is his new found friend a Novak - a family his own has long feuded with, but that his father intends for him to court the woman his brother loves.
Will Dean and Castiel find a way to free Dean of a life he knows he was never meant to live so that he can have a chance of happiness?

Summary
Dean Winchester was prepared to resent the person who 'took' the space next to his bakery that he'd had his heart set on for expanding his business.
He didn't account for the owner of the candy shop to be so attractive, charming, and kind, nor did he expect to find him in their shared alley crying over his own cat that had been kidnapped by his ex.
Dean soon found himself caught up in the search and retrieval of Mr. Whiskers and along the way losing his heart to both Cas and the extraordinary feline.

Thus began a correspondence left on bodies of people who evaded justice and the beginning of what the press dubbed the “Garbage Men” Special agent Castiel Novak is called in to help assist and is partnered with Dean Winchester.

Summary
Freetown, founded shortly after the Civil War, is a haven for non-traditional (female alphas, male omegas) or non-conforming (alpha males who are attracted to male omegas, alpha/alpha or omega/omega pairings) people to live free from the prejudices of mainstream society. Sheriff Castiel Novak is on a scouting mission to find and eliminate a band of rogue outlaws who would seek to destroy the quiet Western town just for existing and allowing its citizens to work and thrive on their own terms. He stumbles across a small band of the outlaws as they prepare to hang a male omega. He arrives in time to save the young man and brings him back to Freetown.
Dean Winchester is a male omega who is saved by a handsome alpha sheriff who promises that his town will be a safe place that he can bring his omega brother, Sam, and that they will be welcomed with open arms.
As Dean settles into Freetown he and Castiel must travel to Casper Wyoming to fetch Sam. The dangers that they encounter on their return may spell trouble for the alpha and pair of brothers or for the whole town.

Ilya narrowed his eyes. He spied the trap. His words had a little grit to them. “Oh, I cannot make a play without learning from you? I forgot in Russian Hockey we just beat each other to death with sticks.”

Shane is aware that he is an absolute mess, with hands trembling and shoulders shaking. His breaths are coming in short bursts, quicker than he is able to control them.
The confession sits like an elephant between them, and yet, Ilya hasn’t moved, tracing soothing circles between Shane’s shoulder blades.
“Sweetheart.” His husband’s voice is steady, soothing. “You need to breathe for me, okay? This isn’t good for you.”

Shane still didn't know what to say, and he still had no clue why Ilya had brought it up. "Oh."
Ilya looked up at him then. His eyebrows were slightly furrowed, his jaw tight. Something was going unsaid.
Is he asking me for permission?
Honestly, Shane wanted to tell him no. Ilya going to that party felt like a waste of their time together, and they got so little of it. Still, if he really wanted to go, Shane wouldn't stop him.
"Did you want to go or something?" Shane asked. He pulled the pillow out of his lap. His feet had been tucked under his legs, so he moved them to be flat on the ground. "I could stay here, I guess. Or head back to—"
"I want you to go too. I want you to come with me to the party."
