In hindsight, her challenge was nothing but a display of delusion, for Ava had never charmed a betrothed woman or man. Her game mostly worked against anarchistic minds like her own, who, in the first place, would never fall prey to holy matrimony. Nonetheless, in her reverie, all possibilities, especially that of buckling under her brother’s wife, outdid Ava’s ability to give a shit.
